Derby, VT – Community National Bank (CNB) President and CEO Christopher Caldwell is proud to name Sarah Fleischer to her new position as Treasury and Municipal Specialist.
Sarah started her career at Community National Bank as a Teller in December of 2022 until she accepted the position of Treasury and Municipal Specialist in January 2026. Prior to starting at CNB, Sarah worked as an Office Manager at Seven Days Newspaper, Operations Manager at a Marriott hotel, managed the kitchen at Capitol Grounds Café and was a co-owner of a painting company.
Sarah graduated from UVM with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and earned an Associate degree from New England Culinary Institute in Baking and Pastry Arts. She has taken several courses and earned a Certified Modern Banking Representative certificate from Center for Financial Training and Education Alliance (CFTEA). Sarah stays actively involved in her community by participating in her daughter’s school whenever and however she can. She has volunteered for CNB on two Habitat for Humanity construction sites and expects to participate in more opportunities ahead. She resides in Montpelier with her husband and daughter.
