Derby, VT – Community National Bank (CNB) CEO Christopher Caldwell is proud to announce the promotion of Sarah Chadburn to Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer.
Sarah started her career at Community National Bank as a Teller over 16 years ago. She transferred to the Commercial Credit Department as a Credit Processor in 2012, where she continued to grow her knowledge in commercial credit and lending. Sarah accepted the position of Credit Analyst in 2016, a position she held until her promotion to Portfolio Manager in 2019, taking on responsibility for providing lending services to our municipalities. In 2021, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer and now Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. Sarah has been named one of VT Business Magazine’s Rising Stars Class of 2021 for her commitment as a professional and her involvement in the community.
Sarah is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors in Business and a Professional Certificate in Paralegal Studies. She is also a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking and Risk Management Association Commercial Lending School. Sarah is involved in her community serving as the Board President of Newport Downtown Development as well as being on the board of Green Mountain Farm to School. She also serves on the Vermont Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA) as well as the RMA National Chapter Development Council.
